Cabinet painting and refinishing in Orlando.

A new kitchen look without tearing out your cabinets. We clean, sand, prime and finish your existing doors, drawers and boxes for a smooth, durable surface.

Cabinet Painting

Keep the cabinets. Change the kitchen.

If your cabinet boxes are solid and you like the layout, refinishing gives you a different kitchen for a fraction of the cost and disruption of replacement. The difference between a painted cabinet that peels in a year and one that holds up is almost entirely in the prep.

Kitchen cabinets carry years of cooking grease and hand oils. We degrease every surface first, sand to give the primer something to grip, and use a bonding primer before the finish coats go on. Doors and drawer fronts are finished off the boxes, so edges and backs get the same attention as the faces.

Questions

Cabinet Painting FAQs.

Is refinishing cheaper than replacing cabinets?

In most kitchens, yes, by a wide margin, because the cabinet boxes, layout and countertops stay in place. We will tell you during the estimate if your cabinets are good candidates.

Can I use my kitchen during the job?

Mostly. Doors and drawers are finished away from the boxes, and we plan the work so the kitchen is out of action for as little time as possible. We go over the schedule with you before we start.

Can you change the color completely, like wood to white?

Yes. Wood to white, white to navy, or a two tone look with different upper and lower colors are all common. Proper priming is what makes a big color change work.
