Specialty Design Painting

Finishes that carry the room

Aesthetics is in our name for a reason. A decorative finish only works when the detail is right: the movement in a limewash look, the crisp edge on a geometric pattern, the soft blend of an ombre wall. Specialty design painting is where finish quality shows most, and it is the work we plan most carefully. We treat a feature wall like a piece of the architecture, not an afterthought.

Every project starts with samples on board or on the wall, viewed in your own light at different times of day. Once the look is chosen, we map the layout, measure the pattern and mark the wall before any color goes on. We build the finish in layers, then seal it with a protective topcoat where the surface needs it, such as hallways, entries and rooms that see daily contact.

Questions

Specialty Design Painting FAQs.

Can I see the finish before you paint the whole wall?

Yes. We make samples in your chosen colors and techniques so you can view them in the room's own light. The wall is painted only after you approve a sample.

Which rooms suit a decorative finish?

Entries, dining rooms, bedrooms, offices and stair walls are common choices. A single feature wall often gives a room a clear focal point without overwhelming it.

Do decorative finishes need a topcoat?

Some do. In busy areas or on finishes that mark easily, we apply a clear protective topcoat so the surface can be wiped clean without dulling the effect.
