Drywall Repair

Repairs you cannot find later

A wall is only as clean as its surface. Fresh paint over a poor patch shows every edge, ridge and dimple, especially under raking window light or a ceiling fixture. Our drywall repair is built around one goal: once the room is painted, nobody should be able to point to where the damage was. That means patience with each layer of compound and careful attention to the texture around it.

We cut back loose material, set patches or new sections where needed, and reinforce cracked seams and corners with fresh tape or bead. Each repair is feathered wide, sanded smooth and matched to the surrounding texture, whether that is smooth, orange peel or knockdown. Then we prime it so the patch takes paint the same way as the rest of the wall. Repairs can be part of a painting project or done on their own ahead of repainting.

Questions

Drywall Repair FAQs.

Will the patch show after painting?

The aim is that it does not. We feather each repair, match the surrounding texture and prime the area so the paint finish reads the same across the whole wall.

Can you repair drywall without painting the whole room?

Yes. Repairs can be done on their own ahead of repainting. For the cleanest result, we usually recommend painting the full wall so the color and sheen blend.

Why do nail pops keep coming back?

Nail pops usually come from fasteners loosening as framing shifts with heat and humidity. We secure the board with new screws, then cover and finish the spot so it stays flush.
